1930 Humber 16/50 Saloon LG 4624

Was first registered on the 14th June 1930 and supplied new to a Chartered Accountant, Mr A.E Slater-Cook, who  practiced in Liverpool. Correspondence from Humber in 1930 addressed paperwork to various addresses held by Mr Slater-Cook in Liverpool, Frodsham and The Aldelphi Hotel in Harrogate. Interestingly, he did not trust delivery drivers to observe the correct running in speed so he collected the car himself from the Humber Works in Coventry. The 16/50 was also Chauffeur driven. Blocks were also fitted to the control pedals to enable his daughter to drive the car at a cost of Seven Shillings and Sixpence, they still remain today! The Humber stayed in the family from 1930 to 1964, the only keeper change being a transfer into his daughter’s name in 1954.

1955 Rover P4 75 Saloon

Lovely early example. The odometer reads 39,800 miles, which I believe to be correct. Nineteen years ago it had covered 37,323 miles. There are a number of expired MOT certificates supplied. The V5C records 5 former keepers, the first 3 long term. These early P4's are charming and this example appears very original. The underside of the 75 is exceptional and any inspection is welcome. The bodywork absolutely solid and very presentable. It has been repainted at some time and there are signs of minor touch ups but you will be hard pushed to find rot. Moving to the inside its beautiful with beautiful grey hide seating and at some time the grey carpeting has been replaced. Launched to the public in 1949 the P4 was a revolution in design and comfort.

1946 Austin 8 AR Saloon with Sliding Sunshine Roof

Charming Post War Austin presented in excellent condition. I have inspected the underside of this Austin 8 and it is in super condition. The body work is gleaming black and requires nothing. The interior is original blue hide which is good condition and shows the charm of its age. The 8 was launched in February 1939 but sadly WWII saw and end to civilian sales. After the end of WWII Austin re started production in 1945 with a slightly posher example with chrome headlights, different steering wheel and overiders, etc. as this one is. It starts easily and runs very well maintaining a nice road speed of 40 MPH. Retains excellent oil pressure and shows no signs of overheating. Its very distinctive with its crocodile grill.

1975 Ford Capri MK11 2.0 Litre Ghia Automatic

It has been treated to a new carpet set to the interior and the effect is fresh and clean. The seating and roof lining are excellent. The inner wing panels and suspension tops are superb and free from corrosion. The chromework is lovely and the paint finish very good. There is the odd minor imperfection, which we can if required rectify. The engine has been completely rebuilt and has covered approximately 600 miles since completion. Supporting paperwork supplied.

1952 Triumph Renown 2000

Reputedly 28,000 miles. Long term ownership for many years. Excellent and very original condition. Inspection of the chassis confirms its in super condition as is the rest of the vehicle. Its paintwork is lovely on the whole with some minor imperfection around the rear wheel arch to body. The interior is beautiful being totally original and in my opinion requires nothing. For the year of the Renown they were a very good driving car with its 2000 litre four cylinder motor, giving very good performance for its day. Its a car you can get in and do some miles in. You don't see many as they don't come to the market that often.

1970 BMW 2800 CS Automatic

Beautiful example of this stylish BMW. 88,000 miles recorded upon the odometer and 4 former keepers. The history file is extensive and the original green log book supplied shows a titled owner when new. In January 2019 it has been fully serviced and re-commissioned at mileage (87952), invoice supplied. The CS is excellent to drive and appears to have no apparent faults. The E9 was launched in 1968 and stayed in production until 1975. The body was penned by "Karmann" and its a classic design. Fitted with the M30 motor, it produced a 168BHP @ 6000 RPM and was to prove a very durable 6 cylinder engine. In 1971 the 3.0 Litre was launched and this bumped the BHP up to 180 BHP.

1960 Mercedes Benz Ponton 190b Saloon

UK RHD example. The V5C records 4 former keepers and MOTs go back to 1993, circa 6,500 miles are seen to have been covered from this point. No noted corrosion to bodywork or underside. Any inspection welcome upon our own lift. Rear quarter bumpers are not corroded and the bright work is beautiful. No water ingress to interior and the boot is dry and free from mould. The 2962cc straight six motor is super quiet and performs superbly in use, as does the the 4 speed automatic gearbox. Water temperature stays at 12 o'clock and the oil pressure bends the stop.

1972 Bultaco 250cc MK6 Pursang MX

Truly a beautiful classic twin shock off road bike. Matching engine and frame numbers. Subject of a complete restoration circa 5 years ago and not used in anger. Out of a superb collection of period Moto Cross machines. Fueled up she starts well but I have had no opportunity to test the MK6 on the track. The tyres are like new as is the chain and sprockets. Finished in detail in its classic red and white livery. This would be a superb entry in to Twin Shock Moto Cross or to grace any collection of motorcycles.

1964 Model Triumph T120 Bonneville 650cc Twin

Dispatched from Triumph on the 04/09/1963 as per Triumph Owners Club dating certificate supplied. For 1964 the Bonneville got outside sprung forks and the footpegs mounted on the engine mount plates along with two tone paint being gold over Alaskan white. The speedo was now 125 MPH unit and were Smiths magnetic gauges. This example I am delighted to offer represents the above and it is truly pristine as rolled of the production line in its "look". Formerly the property of a Triumph motorcycle collector who is fastidious with detail, so should appeal to the discerning buyer.

1986 Honda CBX 750 FE Or R17

Great example and presented very well. I have in my possession photographs of the CBX stripped down to the frame, circa 5 years or so ago. It was then rebuilt using the original parts and replacing worn components. Its DOHC In Line Four Motor was a legend, super reliable. It revved to 10,000 rpm and gave 92 BHP, which pushed it to 131 mph. Not bad for a bike of its day and you got 37 miles per gallon. It had the new Pro Link rear end and handled superbly weighing in at 218 kg. A production run of 2 years so this one must be one of the last. 67 of them are currently licensed in the UK.

Important BSA Racing Motorcycle - 1952 Roland Pike BSA 350cc Gold Star

Frame number RHP4. Built in period by the talented engineer and racer, Roland Pike, Head of BSA development in the early 1950's. He was at the forefront and responsible for BSA's 1954 Daytona entry and 5 of the top six finishers were BSA's under the wing of Roland Pike. Looking at this machine there are hints of a Norton "Featherbed" frame but with single front down tube rather than the duplex style.

Even the rough treatment given seldom saw them breakdown. Today they have become a cult classic, fondly remembered.

RARE One of 85 250cc MK4 Challengers built. Presented today in exceptional condition having been professionally restored mechanically and cosmetically. The Challenger range of Moto Cross bikes dominated the racing in the 1960's with such riders as: Dave Bickers, Badgers Goss and Brian Wade as pilots. The lack of engine units from Villiers in the late 60's to be supplied to Greeves saw the Spanish invasion get a good foot hold. Our bike would grace any collection or with pre race checks it would be superb to use in Twin Shock off road events. Delivery and shipping arranged.
