1996 Jaguar XKR 4.0 Litre Supercharged
Straight Six (X306) Automatic
Finished in Titanium silver with contrasting
Parchment hide interior. A beautiful example which has covered
114,000 miles with full main agent service history, up to 78,745
miles. The XJR was always that bit naughty, Jaguar's first
ever Supercharged road car, the A16 Straight Six pushing out 326 bhp.
The Eaton air/water-cooled Supercharger getting it to 0 to 60 in 5.7
seconds effortlessly through the GM 4L80-E automatic gearbox. It had
17" wheels, firmer suspension and a taller 3.27:1 differential.
Cosmetically it had body coloured grille surround, mesh grille
insert, body coloured boot lid plinth, larger exhaust outlets,
special five-spoke "Sport" alloy wheels and "XJR" badging. Rain
gutters and window surrounds were matte black on uk cars. When I
acquired the XJR in part exchange it had been standing for some
time. I revered it out of the former owners property and set off on
the 130 mile journey home. Upon arriving back at Spinning Wheel I
had fell under its spell and felt it worthy of some care, in general
the car itself was very, very good.
is not a kit car but a rebodied Reliant Fox/Kitten.
built initially as trials cars and did compete very successfully. 51
were built and this is presumably No.14? John Box designed the
Tempest sports two-seater, ex chief engineer at TVR and was
subsequently a consultant to Reliant. I am delighted to present this
lovely little Roadster, which is in superb condition. Coming from a
private individual in Derbyshire this Tempest has been superbly
maintained with a new battery fitted, refurbished hood, new Makralon
sidescreens (unbreakable) and both bottom ball joints on the front
suspension have been replaced. I was surprised how good the finish
was on the Tempest and even more surprised how well it drives. The
850cc motor pulls very well and the gearbox is easy to use. Its
light and nippy, an alloy and fiberglass body finished in lovely
gloss black complemented by excellent chrome wire wheels.

work . The DX range of Vauxhalls were introduced in the mid 1930,s
to bring Vauxhall back into the family saloon market and at around
£230 it was a popular car , Smooth six cylinder motor , Independent
front suspension and a roomy interior made it stand out in its class.Delivery and Shipping Arranged.

1969 Austin Mini Countryman
From 1961 - 1969 BMC produced a two-door estate model, mimicking the
famous Morris "Traveller" style. A slightly longer chassis compared
to the standard Mini saloon was employed. The luxury estate models
had decorative wood inserts mounted on the rear body which gave the
"Countryman" its distinctive look. This rare MK11 Austin Countryman
has been subject to a total and superb restoration, which I am told
was completed around 8 years ago. It is today presented in
exceptional condition having body colour finish to the underside and
wheel arches and superb black enamel subframes. The distinctive wood
trim is superb with no signs of deterioration
and the Tartan red paint finish is beautiful. Move into the interior
and it's like new with short pile red BMC style carpet and luxury
red vinyl seating! I love the big centre speedo with temp gauge and
oil pressure gauge at each side for company. The engine bay is
immaculate, so all in all show standard.
1964 Vauxhall Viva HA Deluxe
miles, believed correct. 3 recorded keepers. Excellent condition,
runner up to 2017 in Class at National Rally. Professionally
repainted to a high standard. Excellent chrome and nicely presented
under bonnet area. Re-carpeted, new headlining and door cards. The
HA was Vauxhall's answer to the Morris Minor and Ford Anglia and was
their first small car since 1936. Introduced in 1963 the HA was
popular, with light steering, easy short shift gear change, light
clutch and "Nippy" performance from its 1057cc motor. Good all round
visibility was also a great plus for the HA. By the end of
production of the HA around 306,000 units had been produced. Sadly
few survive due to RUST, Vauxhall's known problem. Delivery
1964 MGB Roadster - Early Pull Handle Example
Chassis number G-HN3-L/53199. The B was
introduced to replace the MGA and had a production run up to 1980
but few early cars survive, making them that little bit more sought
after. This one is presented in Old English white with contrasting
black hide seating piped in white. Subject of a restoration in and
around 1998/2000. Current milometer reading 64,738 so in the past 18
years the B Roadster has covered a recorded mileage of 12,696 miles,
supported by maintenance invoices to be supplied with the car. As I
trust you can see the Roadster presents very well, the seating has
recently been renewed and looks superb. In 2015 the MG Owners Club
rebuilt the later type full syncro gearbox along with fitting a new
clutch so the Roadster performs with out apparent fault. Excellent
oil pressure is maintained and no overheating is noted. This example
is a December 1964 built car so has the very first of the five
bearing engines introduced in October 1964.

CLASSIC AND MODERN MOTORCYCLES
1986 Honda CBX 750 FE Or R17
Great example and
presented very well. I have in my possession photographs of the CBX
stripped down to the frame, circa 5 years or so ago. It was then
rebuilt using the original parts and replacing worn components. Its
DOHC In Line Four Motor was a legend, super reliable. It revved to
10,000 rpm and gave 92 BHP, which pushed it to 131 mph. Not bad for
a bike of its day and you got 37 miles per gallon. It had the new
Pro Link rear end and handled superbly weighing in at 218 kg. A
production run of 2 years so this one must be one of the last. 67 of
them are currently licensed in the UK. Our bike as said is in great
shape and it has its original period colour match luggage. It's got
great tyres and chain; and a new battery has just been fitted so its
on the button. We will MOT the the CBX for 1 year at point of sale.
Comes with: V5C, HPi certificate (clear), photographs of rebuild and
spare key. Delivery and Shipping arranged.
Gold Wing GL1000
Wing! 43,500 miles with 3 owners and MOTs from 29,000 miles back in
1999. A truly unmessed with original GL1000 that has been superbly
maintained and cared for.
The Honda Gold Wing GL1000 has a
horizontally-opposed flat four motor. Built really to convert Harley
Davidson riders in America to a more civilized stead and it worked.
Not a light weight but who cared look at a Harley Davidson. It had
80BHP at 7500 RPM and claimed 125 MPH from its 999cc single-overhead
cam, two valves per cylinder, water-cooled flat four motor. It was
smooth, oil tight, reliable and did not give you "vibration white
finger" when you rode it! Not only did it capture the American
market, soon Europe caught on and started ditching there BMW's for
this luxury cruiser. They rained from 1975 to 1979 in this guise and
to find a good one today like this is not easy. As they were well
loved many have done mental miles, Been customized and latterly
basically used to extinction.

1968 Norton N15CS 750cc Twin
restored and show standard condition. Matching engine and frame
numbers supported by Norton Owners Club dating certificate.
The N15CS was a hybrid between AMC and Norton to cater for the
extremely popular desert racing market in the USA. It featured a
Matchless G85CS completion frame and a very powerful Norton Atlas
750cc twin motor. The model range was tweaked with some having high
level exhaust pipes a Ranger P11A model with swept back exhaust
pipes and as we have with low level road going exhaust pipes. Most
of the production were allocated to the USA market and by 1969 the
model was dropped in favor of the Norton Commando range.
1966 BSA A65
Lightning 650cc Twin
Presented in excellent condition and
in my opinion very original. It has excellent chrome work and paint
work, shiny alloy engine cases, excellent tyres, chain and
sprockets. We have just serviced it, fitting a new battery,
oil changed, sonically cleaned carburetors and a new Tacho cable has
been fitted. It fires into life with out effort and sounds superb.
On the road the gears select correctly and the 650cc motor pulls
very well with no major oil smoke or undue noise. The A65 Range
proved very popular in the USA, where most of the production
actually was directed. This example was exported new by BSA Small
Heath, Birmingham in 1966 to the USA, where it appears to have had a
very sheltered existence. Correct engine and frame numbers. US title
shows the lightning returning from Delaware in mid 2018. It has a
NOVA certificate and we are currently in the process of UK
registration application, which will be completed for its new owner.
Great looking bike and extremely nice out on the road. Shipping and

down pipes, SCAN air intake and Magnesium engine covers. Weighed
199Kg, 153 MPH Top Speed, Standing quarter mile in 11.16 seconds and
44.8 mpg plus funky paint schemes. This one is an excellent
original example which shows 27,924 miles and 4 recorded keepers
upon the V5C. It really is a very genuine GSXR, There's the odd
paint chip here and there but it does not detract from how straight
the bike is. Its on the button and I have ridden the bike 30 miles
and pushed it 2 after running out of fuel. It rides as well as it

1979 Honda CB 750 F Super Sport DOHC
Superb and very original
example. Odometer reading 11,500 miles believed correct. NOT a
restored bike, what it's needed it has obviously had and been very
well cared for. The frame is beautiful, under the seat is super
clean and the cycle parts excellent. We have recently serviced the
CB750 F, fitting a new battery, changing the oil and filter, fitting
new spark plugs and throttle cables. It starts on the button and
runs very well. In 1979 Honda
introduced a new, more powerful version of the 750 Super Sport. This
bike came with a newly designed 749cc 4 cylinder engine, dual
overhead cams with bucket and shims instead of rocker arms, and four

am delighted to offer represents the above and it is truly pristine
as rolled of the production line in its "look". Formerly the

racer, Roland Pike, Head of BSA development in the early 1950's.
Roland entered 168 race events over the period of 1936 to 1953, many
on his self engineered bikes and gained quite a lot of success. He
was at the forefront and responsible for BSA's 1954 Daytona entry
and 5 of the top six finishers were BSA's under the wing of Roland
Pike. Looking at this machine there are hints of a Norton
"Featherbed" frame but with single front down tube rather than the
duplex style. The motor is from a 1952 BSA Gold Star confirmed by an
original green log book with registration number OS8496.
