1968 Greeves MX24 MK4 250cc Challenger

RARE One of 85 250cc MK4 Challengers built. Presented today in exceptional condition having been professionally restored mechanically and cosmetically. NOT used in anger it has formed part of a large off road motorcycle collection. We do have the front number plate supplied with the Greeves. The Challenger range of Moto Cross bikes dominated the racing in the 1960's with such riders as: Dave Bickers, Badgers Goss and Brian Wade as pilots. The lack of engine units from Villiers in the late 60's to be supplied to Greeves saw the Spanish invasion get a good foot hold. Our bike would grace any collection or with pre race checks it would be superb to use in Twin Shock off road events. Delivery and shipping arranged.

New clutch fitted June 2019. In production from 1988 to 1994 this 16v per cylinder 400 made a lot of people smile from ear to ear. 64 bhp and 130 mph from a lightweight 400 was good going and best of all it handled better than the competition. Its Delta box alloy frame was light and rigid. They were latterly loved to death so finding a good 3TJ isn't easy. This one runs superbly and comes with: V5C, HPi certificate (clear), many expired MOT certificates and various associated receipts. MOT expires April 2020. Dispatched from Triumph on the 04/09/1963 as per Triumph Owners Club dating certificate supplied. For 1964 the Bonneville got outside sprung forks and the footpegs mounted on the engine mount plates along with two tone paint being gold over Alaskan white. The speedo was now 125 MPH unit and were Smiths magnetic gauges. This example I am delighted to offer represents the above and it is truly pristine as rolled of the production line in its "look". Formerly the property of a Triumph motorcycle collector who is fastidious with detail, so should appeal to the discerning buyer.

1986 Honda CBX 750 FE Or R17

Great example and presented very well. I have in my possession photographs of the CBX stripped down to the frame, circa 5 years or so ago. It was then rebuilt using the original parts and replacing worn components. Its DOHC In Line Four Motor was a legend, super reliable. It revved to 10,000 rpm and gave 92 BHP, which pushed it to 131 mph. Not bad for a bike of its day and you got 37 miles per gallon. It had the new Pro Link rear end and handled superbly weighing in at 218 kg. A production run of 2 years so this one must be one of the last. 67 of them are currently licensed in the UK.

Important BSA Racing Motorcycle - 1952 Roland Pike BSA 350cc Gold Star

He was at the forefront and responsible for BSA's 1954 Daytona entry and 5 of the top six finishers were BSA's under the wing of Roland Pike. Looking at this machine there are hints of a Norton "Featherbed" frame but with single front down tube rather than the duplex style.

Backed up by the presence of a ICarol Nash International Motor Cycle Show Certificate, "Best Continental" in class. It's just gorgeous and over the past 8 years its been part of a motorcycle collection. 1981 Montesa Cota 200 Twin Shock Trials Bike

Excellent and original condition. NOT had a hard life at all. Starts and runs superbly. Montesa is a Spanish manufacturer well known for its off road bikes. Very successful in the 1970's and World Champions in 1980 with Ulf Karlsson as pilot. Strikes and the Spanish economy saw the end of Montesa as an independent manufacturer. They teamed up with Honda which saw them pull through and and they remain to this day. This example requires nothing more than pre trial checks. Delivery and shipping arranged.

1934 Gillet Comfort 400cc Sloper - Herstal, Belgium

Charming "Oily Rag" condition. Imported into the UK in 1981 and decommissioned in the mid 1990's. These were a quality motorcycle in their day, Gillet holding 81 World Records up to 1934. Looking round the bike confirms this. One kick and the 400cc motor springs into action, sitting on tick over beautifully. I am told the motor was rebuilt and the way it runs backs up this claim. Its ready to go and enjoy and an ideal 1930s touring bike, which I feel would be quite reliable. It comes with copy handbooks and sale literature, V5C and a file containing invoices, specification and correspondence.

They claimed 78 MPH of its time this was from another planet as your average B40 and similar looked dated and were much slower. Supplied with: V5C, workshop manual and an MOT if required. 1973 Cotton Cavalier Moto Minarelli

Powered 175cc Twin Shock Trials Bike. Lovely genuine Cotton which runs great. These trials bikes were sold in kit form as well as fully assembled and proved popular with the trials riders of the day, although limited production runs and the import of cheaper Japanese bikes proved too much for Cotton, in the end and by the early 1970's Cotton as a motorcycle manufacturer was gone.
