1952 BSA A10 Gold Flash 650cc Twin Plunger
Frame correct, engine to
frame numbers. Original UK example. Beautifully presented after
recent restoration completion. Rebuilt motor and gearbox, stainless
steel fixings, new tyres, rims and battery, rebuilt competition
magneto, etc. 458 miles completed and running superbly. Starts
easily, runs smoothly and changes gear beautifully. Supporting
paperwork supplied. Conceived by the master himself Bert Hopwood.
Briefed by BSA to come up with a bike able to compete with Norton
and Triumph, which he did being launched in October 1949. The A10 in
different forms stayed in production until 1962 and proved a durable
motorcycle. Dating records appear to show that this A10 was
dispatched from BASE to "Watson Carriers LTD", Yorkshire. Comes
with: V5C, and an MOT if required. A really lovely classic BSA Twin.
