Description

1980 Suzuki RL325 Beamish Trials Bike

The Beamish Suzuki was first produced in the 1970s by ex-BSA works rider, Graham Beamish, agent for Suzuki moto-cross machines. Models being available for the 1974 season. Beamish’s modifications had improved the bike, but a completely new frame was made by frame builder, Mick Whitlock, who designed one made of lightweight Reynolds 531 tubing, bronze-welded and chromed. The Beamish proved to be extremely popular and the range was developed. A revised Mk2 version was produced with a lighter frame debuting in 1976 and latterly a larger-engine RL325 model debuted at the 1978 Earls Court Motorcycle Show. The last Beamish Trials Suzuki's were produced in 1981. This example we have on offer is one of the last being an RL325 and it is presented in exceptional condition. I doubt its seen many sections as the frame, bash plate and casings are superb. Starts easily and it's ready to grace any collection. Delivery arranged.
